Where it all began

Mags was scrolling through Facebook one evening when she recognised James from school. She sent him a friend request.

On New Year’s Day, after a night out at her brother’s house, she noticed James online and gave him a wave on Facebook. James waved back. A few messages followed. After a bit of chatting, James asked Mags out on a date.

Their first date was bowling and Nando’s. A simple start, but James clearly knew how to treat a girl.

Not long after, the week before Mags’ birthday, James and Mags made it official.

James started as he meant to go on. He took Mags to see Cirque du Soleil and Wicked. They loved it so much they made it a tradition and have gone to see a show every year since.

As their relationship grew, James moved into Mags’ mum and dad’s house. He quickly became part of the family. Late nights and early mornings often meant James and Terry would pass each other in the hallway. Those quick chats soon turned into a strong friendship, and before long they were best friends.
